Mission Statement

Out of control illegal immigration is ruining California’s quality of life. Change California is a broad statewide membership organization committed to reversing state and federal policies that encourage illegal immigration. We are a nonpartisan, independent nonprofit focused on providing the public with information and tools for advocacy.

Board of Directors

Mark Wyland, Chairman of the Board.
Born and raised in Escondido, Mark Wyland is a native son of North San Diego County. He spent more than twenty-five years at every level of a local family business founded by his grandfather. Wyland served on the Escondido Union School Board and is a trustee to Pomona College. He graduated from Pomona College and earned a Master's degree in political science at Columbia University. He is the recipient of the Fullbright Scholarship. Mark Wyland currently serves in the California State Assembly.

Greg Aghazarian.
A third generation resident of Stockton and local businessman, Assemblyman Aghazarian has deep roots in the San Joaquin Valley. As a successful businessman and attorney, he understands what it takes to build a business and balance a budget. He currently serves in the California Assembly, and previously served as Trustee on the Lincoln Unified School District Board. A graduate of the University of Southern California, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and his Juris Doctorate from the McGeorge School of Law.

George Plescia.
Assemblyman George A. Plescia represents the 75th Assembly District of California. As a member of the Budget Committee, Assemblyman Plescia applies his fiscally conservative beliefs to consideration of each bill. Selected by his Republican colleagues to serve in the leadership position of Chief Whip, Plescia works to mobilize votes on key Republican legislative efforts, provide information to Members, build coalitions and coordinate legislative strategy within the Assembly. Assemblyman Plescia and his wife, Melissa, make their home in San Diego.

Duane Dichiara.
For over a decade Duane Dichiara has been advancing Republican philosophy and values by electing GOP candidates to office. Mr. Dichiara’s campaign history includes successful races for competitive Congressional, State Senate, State Assembly, County Supervisor, City Council and Judicial seats. He is a partner in Coronado Communications, a San Diego/Sacramento political consulting and public relations firm.
